  2. Fabric selection, preparation ,layout, calculation of materials for different garments.
  3. Body measurement, proportion, garment designing according to figures.
  4. Seams and Seam finishes, disposal of fullness, plackets, fasteners, yokes, necklines, collars and sleeves, trimmings, pockets.
  5. Techniques in pattern making - Flat pattern, draping, drafting, application, principles and limitations, commercial paper pattern and grading.
  6. Common fitting problems & their remedies.
