The IIS University

The International College for Girls (ICG) has been conferred with the status of a deemed to be university and is known as The IIS University, by the Ministry of Human Resource Development under section 3 of UGC Act, 1956.

The deemed university status provides greater autonomy in setting their own courses, syllabi and teaching methodologies as well as the authority to award degrees. The academic courses and programmes offered under the aegis of The IIS University are accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The IIS University has already secured a place in the list of the ‘A’ category educational institutions as reviewed by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, giving further credence to our pursuits for excellence in higher education.

The university is one of the nine premier institutions run by Indian Council for International Amity (ICFIA). The campus has an area of 50,331 square meters. The university has an advanced computer departments which contains more than 225 desktops and servers. The campus is well equipped with wire-less system, as also transportation facility for the students.

The IIS University, Jaipur, offers various academic programs such as Under Graduate, Post Graduate, Post Graduate Diploma, Master of Philosophy, Doctor of Philosophy and certain other courses. The IIS University also ha s a full fledged placement cell which other than placement guidance, also provides counseling and training. The cell ensures that various multi-national companies and UGC recognized educational institutions visit the college so as to recruit its meritorious and deserving students. The placement cell conducts popular talks by experts on career prospects in different career related fields. The placement cell arranges campus interviews, summer internships, group discussions, development of communication skill etc., for enhancing the recruitment chances of the students.
