Institute of Advanced Studies in Education

Located near the town of Sardarshahr, Rajasthan, the Institute of Advanced Studies in Education (IASE) was sponsored by a non-governmental, Non-profit-motive making registered society, called Gandhi Vidya Mandir (GVM). The Government of India has accorded it the formal recognition of University, under Section 3 of the UGC Act-1956

The Institute of Advanced Studies in Education (IASE) is a Deemed University. The University is a member of The Association of Indian Universities (AIU). It is not funded by the University Grants Commission UGC). The Institute of Advanced Studies in Education came into being under the Centrally Sponsored Scheme of Education in 1993.

IASE is about 300 km west of Delhi , 125 km east of Bikaner and 230 km north of Jaipur. It has proper connectivity by rail and road. It also has its own triad of helipads. The Institute's campus is stretched over an area of 1200 acre campus, surrounded by fascinating and heart-warming landscape.

The Institute has over 10,000 resident or non-resident students, from pre-primary to Ph.D.level. It has a separate multi-faculty colleges for girls and co-educational colleges in Ayurved, Para-Medical, Life Sciences, Veterinary Sciences, IT and Management Engineering, Art, Science and Commerce.

The University started the Distance Education Programme in 2003 with the goal to bring education to all and also at an affordable cost. Several students have benefited from the distance education programs. IASE is a NAAC accredited B+ (5 star rated) institute. The University has hundreds of Study Centres of the University, operating from Kashmir to Kanykumari, in the fields of IT, Management, Para-Medical, Vocational and various other modern and traditional streams.
