Mody Institute of Technology and Science (MITS)

Mody Institute of Technology and Science (MITS), Lakshmangarh was formerly known as Mody Institute of Education and Research. It is a Deemed University, established in 1989. It is located at Lakshmangarh in Sikar District. The Institute is exclusively for women. Professional courses are offered in the faculty of engineering and technology and faculty of management studies.

The Institution is an exclusive postgraduate professional education school. It offers several post graduate courses recognized by AICTE/UGC and affiliated with Rajasthan Technical University, Kota. The Institute has one of the best infrastructural set-up and a well planned campus.
 
The camus of the Institute can be reached after a 25 km drive on the Jaipur-Bikaner highway (NH-11) from Sikar. The campus covers an area of over 250 acres, and itr is surrounded by lovely landscapes with waterfalls, fountains, orchards, lawns, forests etc.
