RAU Bikaner Courses Offered

The Rajasthan Agricultural University was formerly a part of the Sukhadia University, Udaipur. It became a separate entity on Ist of August 1987 as a consequence of an Ordinance (Ordinance No. 13 of 1987) by the Government of Rajasthan which was later enacted by an Act of Rajasthan State Legislation (Act No. 39 of 1987).

Admission Process:

• The admission for the UG and PG degree programmes are notified in important new papers and all colleges of the University.
• Admission to B.V.Sc and A.H is made through a state level entrance test, which is combined with entrance test for medical course, which is known as Rajasthan Pre-medical Test and Rajasthan pre-veterinary test.
• Admission to B.Sc (AG) Hons. And B.Sc (home science) is made through a state level joint entrance test (JET) conducted by the University.
• Admission to M.B.A Agri business is made through a national level test (MAT), followed by a group discussion and an interview.
• Admission to M.Sc (AG)/M.V.Sc and M.Sc home science programme is made through a pre postgraduate (pre-pg) test.
• For admission to PhD programme all the eligible candidates area called and interviewed by a committee consisting of chairman of the faculty, dean, post graduate studies, dean of the colleges, concerned head of the department and a senior faculty member of the discipline. Admission is made as per the merit list prepared on the basis of total points given.
