Rajasthan Sanskrit University (JRRSU)
Jagadguru Ramanandacharya Rajasthan Sanskrit University, Jaipur was formerly known as Rajasthan Sanskrit University. it was established in 2001 by Swami Narayan Dasji Maharaj. The University was set up for the development and preservation of the Sanskrit language and also to propagate and promote Sanskrit learning in the state.
The University is recognized by the University Grant Commission (UGC). It affiliates more than 50 colleges/institutions of Acharya, Shashtri and Shikshashatri level. It publishes an annual Sanskrit magazine named Akshara.
The University is a member of Indian Association of Universities. In 2005. It was christened Jagadguru Ramanandachary Rajasthan Sanskrit University, Jaipur.
Campus:The University campus is located at Madau (Bhankrota), Jaipur. The campus spans over an area of about 78.85 hectares.
