Rajasthan Pre Engineering Test (RPET)

RPET or the Rajasthan Pre-Engineering Test is conducted for admissions into the first year of the graduation programme or Bachelors programme by the Board of Technical Education, Rajasthan, into different engineering streams. These admissions take place in Bachelor of Engineering programme or Bachelor of Technology programme in various Government colleges or government aided institutes and private institutes in Rajasthan (excluding MNIT Jaipur, BITS Pilani and other deemed and private universities).

Each year applications are invited from eligible candidates of Rajasthan, including wards of Kashmiri migrants.

Eligibility criteria

To be eligible for a B.Tech. or B.E. course, students must have completed physics and mathematics coursework, as well as one of the following: chemistry, computer science, biotechnology or biology. Find out more details on eligibility criteria.

Syllabus

The syllabus includes physics, mathematics and chemistry subjects. The SI system of units will be used on the exam.
