Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology (MPUAT)

Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology, Udaipur (MPUAT) came into existence on 1st Nov, 1999. It was established as a result of bifurcation of the Rajasthan Agricultural University. The university has the following constituent colleges:

• Agricultural Research Stations (ARSs)
• Agricultural Research Sub Stations (ARSSs)
• Livestock Research Station (LRS)
• Dryland Farming Research Station (DFRS)
• Krishi Vigyan Kendras (KVKs)

The university boasts of infrastructure and facilities to aid education. Some of the facilities include sports arena, hostel, libraries, labs and more.

The university's Faculty includes Agriculture, Engineering, Dairy & Food technology, Home Science, Fisheries and Horticulture & Forestry. The university also opened the following new departments:

Admission:

Application form and prospectus of the university is available at the Registrar office, MPUAT, Udaipur by paying INR 1000 in cash or by sending DD from a nationalized bank for INR 1100 in favor of Comptroller, MPUAT Udaipur, payable at Udaipur, 313001 (Rajasthan).
